Here you can buy part of the GDR-history (East Berlin). The entrance and fasaces shine with beautiful ornaments. This is what makes 54East so special. The apartments were built during the socialistic classicism in 1954. Its not suprising that this area was the location for the movie “Goodbye, Lenin!”. The “HISTORIC”-apartments are party furnished with listed, detached bathtubs and the flooring consists of linoleum of high quality which is typical for this period of time.
